Theresa's Plan to Save the World

You Are What You Eat

Most of us have been told how to eat (not that we follow those instructions). We also have learned how foods can help you heal or make you sick. I still love my cinnamon Pop Tarts with frosting as a treat, but I know they certainly are not healing. I don’t always do what I know is the most beneficial for me.

So what do my eating habits have to do with spirituality? And what does that have to do with my plan to save the world?

Before I start sharing my thoughts, I would like to share a study. The study was done by Dr. Maseru Emoto. He put forth that water has a consciousness by exposing droplets to loving and compassionate human thoughts and words. This resulted in pleasing physical molecular formations in the water. Thoughts and words expressing hate, anger etc. would cause the water to have unpleasant physical molecular formations.

The book, The Hidden Messages in Water, explains this all in detail. Emoto wanted to see how water reacted to music. He found similar results; a Mozart symphony, No. 40 (which is peaceful), produced similar images to the loving and compassionate thoughts. Heavy metal music (which sounds angry) produced unpleasant physical molecular formations.

A lead researcher at Horticulture Innovations in Australia, Dr Dominique Hes, stated “Some research shows that speaking nicely to plants will support their growth, whereas yelling at them won’t.” It is not the words said but the “vibrations and volume.” When you talk to a baby, it doesn’t matter what you say, but the love and gentleness with which you say the words. Read the newspaper to them with love, and they will be engaged. Not your words, your love.

So what does this have to do with what you eat? I mean “eat” metaphorically. We consume the food we eat and our body consumes the words we say.  Our body and mind listen not only to what others say but also what we say about everything. If plants and water are affected, it is an easy conclusion that we are too.

Yesterday I forgot an appointment, and the first thought was: How could you be so stupid? That certainly does not lift me up. I forgot the appointment; I will take a little time every morning to check what I am suppose to do.  That would create a better reaction within me, no guilt, just acknowledging the truth leads to a different outcome in the future. A child falls when he or she begins learning to walk, and the adult says, “It’s ok baby,” and helps them up to try again, being supportive and loving. We need to do that for ourselves.

I brought this up because of the exercise I am practicing from my first entry on how to save the world. Once again, I have to remind myself that becoming aware of how my mind complains helps me to grow as a human being. I am on day one again, but it’s ok, baby. Try again! Complaints about the weather, other people, or anything else are like the water and the plants hearing negative statements. The lower vibrations do not help growth. Sing with joy, find joy, and live it. Not only will the world around you get brighter, but you will also brighten others.

Thank you, and be well.
