Defining God

Good day, everyone. I hope this day finds you all well.

In past blogs, I have used words similar to this: God, Divine, Source, Light. I thought today I would try to define who God is to me. 

God is love. God is everything and in everything. There is nowhere God is not. God is undefinable because there are no words that can express how complete God is. God is in everything known and unknown. Since it is unknown to us, how can God be explained?

In Judaism, there are hundreds of names for God and the nature of God. How many depends on which book you read. When online, you can find many names. Here are just a few:

Ehyeh Asher Ehyeh – I AM THAT I AM

Yahweh – the name is so Holy that in the time of Jesus, the average Jew would not say it out loud.

Elohim – Mighty God/gods

Adonai – Lord/Master

Adonai Yahweh – Lord God 

Yahweh Shalom – Peace

I agree with the Hebrews. God cannot be contained in one word. God does not care what name is used. I tend to like Papa but God is not male or female. That just works for me. God just wants you to remember who you are; Perfect Love in form created by Love itself, God. How this world would change overnight if we remembered.
