I have been talking about responsibility directly or indirectly quite a bit lately. I wanted to share a song I heard awhile back that sadly rang so true. It’s called “Cookie Jar” by Jack Johnson, and it’s a song about something we all have done one time or another—play the blame game.
We tell our kids: “Don’t blame someone else, accept your responsibility in all this,” but do we take the time to look at our own lives and do the same? When you are blaming someone else, you are playing the role of the victim. “It wasn’t my fault; so and so made me do it.”
Poppy Kash, and as Forest Gump would say “And that’s all I got to say about that”.
