Sunday Morning Thoughts

Life is like an Iceberg

Under the surface of the water, each iceberg reveals a striking deep blue color.  Anyone who has seen the bottom is in awe; it floats in the ocean and can be seen as separate from the ocean, however, in truth, it is part of the ocean. That is who we are. We might perceive ourselves as separate from each other, but we are part of everything and everyone.

Introspection

What do I wish to demonstrate?

Now, years, later I read this question, and the answer came to me. Share the Love that I have received. Share the beauty and simplicity of our Creator. I have been doing just that, not only in the book, but in my blogs. How exciting!! I decided to go one step further: from this day forward, I will set the intention to write from the place of love. We are all Loving, Lovable, and Loved forever!!

Theresa's Plan to Save the World

Step 2: Judgment, Part 2

Step 2 in the plan was judgment. I want to add a point. There are times when I cannot let something that someone else has done go. I plan what I am going to say or do to them over and over in my head. Screaming Mimi is screaming, “You hurt me! I want you to feel bad for how you treated me!” She wonders how it could happen.

Theresa's Plan to Save the World

Step 2 of Theresa’s Plan to Save the World: Judgment

Judgment always involves duality or contrast. So complaints are judgments: “It is too hot. It is too cold.” We also judge the positive, “I think that person does wonderful things.” How do you know that person is doing wonderful things? Do you know their motivation? Maybe they are looking to better their career or to be looked up to. Are they trying to get something? You don’t know, nor do I.

Sunday Morning Thoughts

The Seventh Beatitude

"Blessed are the peacemakers for they shall be called the children of God." [Bible, Matthew 5:9] It’s time to put opinions in check. All the fighting going on between the left and the right is for what? To be right? My first mystic teacher, Mother Charlotte Mary, once told me, "The ego would rather say ‘I am right’ than 'Be at peace, and not fight.'"

Another Look

Damn that Traffic Jam!

Driving a car on a highway can be stressful. You leave the house with just enough time to get to your doctor’s appointment. Halfway there, you see brake lights everywhere. I would think most people have had this experience in one form or another. (Maybe you’re not in a car but on a subway, bus, or train having difficulties.) Everyone around is getting agitated. People are cutting in front of people, horns are blowing everywhere, and cars are starting to drive in the breakdown lane.

The World We Live In

Hallelujah

I was sent this video the other day and wanted to share it with all of you.  I found it so real, I found myself crying, actually sobbing . I cannot put into words why this touched me in the depths of my being.  These wonderful Ukrainian musicians singing praise while living the horrors of war around them.  There is nothing I can say that could make this more power-filled than it is.  Take some time and let it seep into your being.
